 I got third place with this at the Topsfield Fair!!! :winner:
:w00t: :boogie:

All our horses (with the exception of Maggie, for the time being) know the way home. When we hit this intersection they put it in high gear and will either put in a very inpressive trot or just canter on through the light.
We usually end up stuck at a red light, and its best if we have a car infront of us, to keep the horses from just barreling through. Sometimes they don't care about the car and they have tried to go through the car.

This time we had a red light and Shortie was very good at standing and waiting. But as soon as the light changed and the cars moved, he went from standing to cantering. It was a very nice transition.

She understands. She does not comprehend.

Maybe you shouldnt put horses out there that arent calm enough or well trained enough to stand calmly when asked?
:iconaffgm:
Nothing like that. Our horses are very well behaved. But like all animals they can get excited about something. A sharp command gets their attention back on us.

Don't worry about it. I know what you ment.

We've only had 2 run aways in the 6yrs I have worked for the co. but for good reason. they got spooked.

I totally understand what you are talking about.

I drive and work with the carriage horses at Fantasy Carriage Company in Frankenmuth, MI. They use Percheron geldings, only, and they used to show. Great people, great horses, and great times!

Who in the rainbow can draw the line where the violet tint ends and the orange tint begins? Distinctly we see the difference of the colors, but where exactly does the one first blendingly enter into the other? So with sanity and insanity.

One more thing, are your harnesses all leather? I couldn't imagine having to clean an all leather harness every day. Cleaning the show harnesses were bad enough once a year...not to mention having to clean the carriages every day as well.
